Tomato Sauce

If you don't own a VICTORIO STRAINER it would behoove you to run to the hardware store and grab one up!  Tom bought ours at a garage sale for $15.00.  The strainer saves so much time when you're making tomato sauce.  Lickety split!!!

Here is my tomato sauce recipe:

Quarter tomatoes and run them through your strainer.

You can add your Italian spices now if you want to. We decided to wait to put our spices in until we were ready to use it but it doesn't really matter one way or the other.

Pour your tomatoes in your crockpot and let them simmer over night.  Leave the lid off the crock since you want the sauce to cook down to thicken it.  Leave it on longer if you want your sauce thicker.

Can and pack your goodies on your pantry shelf!!!

ENJOY!!
